The Health Report App was developed by Taiwan AI Labs, Executive Yuan, and the CDC. The goal is to provide a convenient and user-friendly service for travelers upon their arrival in Taiwan in the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. By integrating our present pandemic prevention technology with the Entry Quarantine System, we devote to expedite the administrative process, so that the travelers can pass the customs and return home in a faster and easier way. To help the public discover disinformation in the midst of the global pandemic, Taiwan AI Labs developed the disinformation understanding system, which collects comprehensive information sources and generates a navigation knowledge graph by Natural Language Processing(NLP) to help people understand the formative bias by comprehensiveness. This AI-powered system aims at providing the public a more holistic view of the world. To try the system, visit the Infodemic.cc, a Taiwan real-time media understanding website. Read more
Taiwan AI Labs is working with Taiwan Executive Yuan, CDC and National Health Insurance to deploy an automated SARS-CoV-2 diagnosis system. Hospitals in Taiwan file CXR (Chest X-Ray) images through Taiwan national health insurance service. The system triggers alert in CDC if high confident cases are identified by AI model. To test the classifier, please access via HERE (Username: guest / Password: guest) Read more
Taiwan Social Distancing App leveraged Bluetooth signal to estimate the physical social interactions out of devices close to individual. The de-centralized approach is operated without centralized database. The data with anonymous hashed ID history is stored at each individual device for up to 28 days. Read more
We introduce a comprehensive screening platform for the SARS-CoV-2 (a.k.a. COVID-19). The proposed AI-based system works on chest x-ray (CXR) images to predict whether a patient is infected with the SARS-CoV-2. The design is to first filter out images of the normal category in the second stage and then, in the final stage, conduct fine-grained classification to divide the pneumonia candidates into two specific types, namely, SARS-CoV-2 and non-SARS-CoV-2. The proposed method has been integrated into the SARS-CoV-2 screening system maintained by Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and Taiwan National Health Insurance Administration. Read more
The visual tool is branched from Nextstrain. It takes virus data from GISAID automatically daily. It connects each infection to most likely source. The solution helps to develop an effective plan for pathogen control.
In additional to transmissions from existing data from GISAID, submit new viral sequence, and corresponding information to receive a curated transmission tree tracing patient's viral strand to its original source. Read more
Set priority from approved medication for potential inhibitors. The tool used computational docking to predict and score the viral replication restraining abilities of different small molecule drugs. The selected candidates are used for lab and clinical testing.
Submit the drug with the drug's structure if it is not in the lists.
The current state of the COVID-19 pandemic is a global health crisis. From December 2019 to September 2020, SARS-CoV-2 has infected over 32 million people, and caused more than one million deaths worldwide. To fight the novel coronavirus, one of the best-known ways is to block enzymes essential for virus entry or replication. The Genomics team at Taiwan AI Labs collaborated with Professor Hsuan-Cheng Huang at National Yang-Ming University, Professor Chien-Yu Chen and Distinguished Professor Hsueh-Fen Juan at National Taiwan University under MOST and NTU supports to develop the database DockCoV2 (https://covirus.cc/drugs/) which aims to find effective antiviral drugs against SARS-CoV2.
Screening result of COVID-19 FDA approved drugs and Taiwan NHI drugs is released on Github.

We developed an AI solution to discover the real-world evidence through publications out of 30 million abstract and 8 million full-text medical papers. NLP techniques are implemented to understand and extract the most relevant information.
TAIGenomics is a cloud platform performs to diagnose rare diseases, predict the risk of diseases. The reports supports classification of cancers with prognosis and clinical drug guides. The cloud platform can also predicts immunotherapy targets, and so on.
Submit NGS or microarrays with patient information to start with.
