Health Report APP
The Health Report App was developed by Taiwan AI Labs, Executive Yuan, and the CDC. The goal is to provide a convenient and user-friendly service for travelers upon their arrival in Taiwan in the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. By integrating our present pandemic prevention technology with the Entry Quarantine System, we devote to expedite the administrative process, so that the travelers can pass the customs and return home in a faster and easier way.
We leverage GPS to assist the current electronic fencing system with an aim to reduce the risk of false alerts caused by station position errors, lowering the risk of disturbing the quarantined persons and in turn lessen the burden of the personnel working at the front-line.
The Health Report App is made more intuitive and convenient, utilizing the latest AI technology, together with facial and speech recognition techniques, providing better service to the people under quarantine, while facilitating the administrative process.
The source codes are open to the governments around the world. Taiwan is happy to share advanced pandemic prevention technology to help consolidate the control and prevention of the pandemic outbreak.
